And floppy discs . . .same preamble as the milk bottle tops.Does anyone know what to do with old floppy discs? Apart from making unusual lamp-shades or other household objects out of them. |

ok, that's pretty impressive
Unfortunately I was instructed to find out how to get rid of them and specifically instructed by my mother that she didn't want them made into novelty items

I don't think they're recyclable. Disposal of floppy discs comes under the WEEE directives for disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
