tenders and the post officeOk ok I know I should have finished this tender earlier in the week but I have just finished it and its printing off now. Post office shuts at 5.30 so I have 20 minutes to get there.
next question if I post it next day delivery do we think it will get to Cardiff by Monday lunch time or 1.pm as they insist

Pay for the delivery. It'll only be a few quid.
Or take it there. Tenders can and do get binned for being late.
Get off here, and go.

Its gone ta, guaranteed delivery by 9am monday.
see the rural life is not so bad, post office (which is in co-op so great parking) is open until 5.30 and the postman was just collecting the stuff but waited while it was added to the bag.
And breath its gone, bet I wont get the work but it was worth a go.

Is the tender issuer a publically funded body? If so, you can legally challenge their decision if you don't and ask to see all the bids. It's likely to annoy them, but it'll show you what the successful bid looked like, and you can learn a lot from it.
