Are you looking for an online company to publish a magazine for you or to create an online magazine yourself? Not sure what you are aiming for......

I think subscriptions are a hard one to achieve on the net. There is so much free good info out there.

I would guess an online magazine needs a regular publishing schedule, standard format ec, as opposed to a website that is updated in a more adhoc manner???

Jema, you're right on that. Been giving it a lot of thought recently. There is certainly some stuff I would happily pay a subscription for. But on the other hand, I have only come to that decision by reading the content for free in the first place, so I know I find the content and style worth paying for.
There is a strong argument for paying to have someone wade through the crap for you --- which is actually what a conventional (paper-based) publisher is touting, in one form or another....
But then I love the internet for all the little gems I find that no sane publisher or middle-man would touch...
