oysters are out !The cold weather and spell of frost last week seems to have kick started the oyster mushrooms growth. Found a basketful of these this morning. Just had them for dinner fried in olive oil & garlic and served with some pasta. The winter oysters are much more tastier than summer ones

Found growing on a birch sapling in a little notch.
Couldnīt find it in the nature books we have.
