paperwork for pigs going to tha abbatoir

Evening all,

We have two pigs going on Tuesday and I seem to recall last time we took some (a couple of years back now) we needed some additional paperwork other than the movement licence. Am I remembering right and if so what is it I need?

we took ours to the abbatoir a couple of weeks ago and only needed the moving licence i think. i'll check with OH when he gets in, as he did it, but i'm pretty sure.

You'll need another thing. Wish I could remember what it was called. It's downloadable.

you need a food chain form you can get this from trading standards

It's called the Food Chain Information document. As well as BPEX it is downloadable from http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/pigguidancedec07.pdf

sorry, yes, OH's just told me that he filled that out at the abbatoir (i wasn't with him) so i didn't realise.
