pdf docsI am going to lift the basic set up of a friends invoices, which are as a pdf document.
I am having trouble putting in my details, instead of his.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong

What are you editing it with, do you have a pdf writer, or just reader?

nothing, I thought I could cut and paste my logo into it, and change some wording

if it was created locking the content you won't be able to change it - a hand comes up on the cursor if you try to delete anything..

Or Serif PagePlus you can get a free/trial copy, it will edit PDF's directly.

or foxit pdf there is also a hole host of freeware pdf editors and for password problem just look for pdf password removers in google

Just for the record, PDF editing is a Windows problem. The other operating systems seem to come with a free PDF editing program. I use "PDF Editor". Correction: I have "PDF Editor", its as complicated as the other image editors and a bit beyond my patience level.
