Pea Kent Blue, CFB Birds Egg and Borlotta Lingua di FuocoHave discovered I have a few more of each of these than I thought, so thought I'd offer them out in case anyone would enjoy growing them.
All I would ask in return is that the Kent Blue pea and the Birds Egg bean, being my saved seed from HSL varieties, anyone who takes them should try to save some and pass it on again/grow again. Personally I think the Birds Egg is interchangeable with the borlotti, but the seeds seem a bit bigger.
I haven't got a whole lot of any of them but still too much for me. In case of competition preference for the Kent Blue will go to Kent/SE people It's a beautiful thing, with deep blue and white flowers that fade to purple. Or was it the other way round. Anyway, can be eaten as a mange tout (more a snap pea really) as well as shelled. I can't find a picture at the moment, but it's a most surprising colour in a pea, I just wish I had room to grow more of them.

I'd love to try some of the Kent Blue and Birds Egg seeds and will be happy to save seed and pass on. Would you like anything in exchange? I have a very large box full of seeds.

Can I try some please, I promise to pass the seeds on next year, to all in you know where.
I've just started my compost heap as well, I thought you might like that after telling me off before

I'm just waiting on the Kent Blue to germinate (they were very slow last year too but worth the wait) then I'll work out quantities and see what you all want (and if I've other spares too) if you all want to PM me and say which ones particularly take your fancy in case I have to divide. Don't need anything in return, far too much as it is

Hi Bugs, I've sown seeds today and have realised that I already have far too many to deal with , so please divide the seeds between the others as I'm not sure I have enough space.
