Phone recycling envelope - worth dosh!

I've got an envelope for sending old phones to Orange for recycling - and the newer old phones could be worth money which they'll pay to you.

I'm not completely sure but it doesn't seem like they need Orange-specific phones.

You can find out if your phone is worth anything here.

If you'd like the envelope, PM me your address.

PS I entered an ancient Nokia 6310i into the website above - value £0.00 Laughing

I would, but that involves getting up to see what model it is. And that is currently beyond my capabilities.

You can scroll down through the menu thingy on the left and choose by picture.

My previous (pre fruit) phone is worth two quid - I'm rich! Except that I've put a PAYG sim in it, so won't be recycling...

Hmm, it seems my phone is worth nothing to anyone except me!

I have a Motorola Pebl. It's an original from Christmas 2005 and I have tried to replace it but just can't find any other one that I like as much!

It works but the camera is broken. I guess I'll just have to wait till it conks out and then I'll be forced to replace it! Then I will recycle it ....

Of course those sites only work if you subscribe to "must have new shiny thing now" principle. If you use the principle of "it works so I won't replace it yet" then by the time you do try to sell it you'll be lucky if you can get tuppence ha'penny for it.

Nokia E72: £45 (but I occasionally use it).

The Motorola K1 gets £0

I'm on hand me downs so I can't afford to send it to them.

We send ours on to the RNLI using a charity envelope for this and toner/ink recycling. It's a charity my family have long supported but their Christmas cards are vile!

I know Fee has registered to here to collect old phones for money for Willow's care. She has registered but I don't know the details. I will ask.....
