photos not jpegFor some sodding reason my photos that Im trying to email to my college email are arriving not as jpegs (and therefore I cant open them). This has never happened before and I dont know how to change them.Kieran briefly looked over my shoulder and said it was something to do with the fact Im using this paint app - Corel to make the photos smaller/cropping them before emailing them. The older photos are emailing fine. Ideas? I need to have the photos to my email by tomorrow. |

You're probably saving them in the proprietary format of the application you are using to crop them etc.
There is us usually the option to 'save as' or 'export for web' whehere you can choose the format to save in with the suffix .jpg |

Ta - they are saving as cpt files. |

Download GIMP - it's basically a free version of Photoshop and you can save them in whatever format you like

I concur. Corel is horrible.
Anyway, yes, always check your "save as". If you forget you can usually change the extension manually by renaming the file instead.
