The really bizarre thing here is that I have three servers in the same datacenter. All resolve the site to the same IP address.
One gets the site okay, with the others I see:
| Code: |
[root@fordp tmp]# wget http://templates.myff.org
--05:00:44-- http://templates.myff.org/
=> `index.html'
Resolving templates.myff.org... 97.74.181.1
Connecting to templates.myff.org|97.74.181.1|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 65 [text/html]
100%[===================================================================>] 65 --.--K/s
05:00:44 (10.33 MB/s) - `index.html' saved [65/65]
[root@fordp tmp]# more index.html
<html><head><meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0"></head></html>

HTML doesn't appear to be rendering properly. Viewing source gives:
working
No HTML structure at all.
Is this by design?

yes. It is a simple paceholder page to detect whether things are there.

It's godaddy hosting. All good on paper but a lot of issues when you try and do stuff.

Most technology has issues when you try and do stuff. Or it does when you least need it to anyway
