PlumsOur local farm shop started picking Herman plums yesterday, Early
Rivers should be about shortly too followed by some early gages.
I do love plums.

If you don't mind me asking, how are yours looking? My damsons all seem to be cracking this year, presumably from the excessive rain.

I'm always happy to talk about my plums. We've only got 2 gages that are actually bearing yet (they were already here). If it stops raining any time soon they'll be fine, but last year it started raining about 10 days before they ripened, that's why we ended up making so much jam.
