potatoe planters wantedjust thought id post this on the off chance that some one mite be interested in helping me plant this years potatoe crop about 1 acre i have a fergi planter that requires two people to ride on the backany one who takes up the offer is wellcome to as many as they can eat after ive harvested them in september any takers

John, what are the dates? My nephews are great kids, aged 15 & 13.they are into outdoor stuff, venture scouts, explorers.they love driving our little garden tractor. Would whit week be any good as this ties in with school hols, it's usually around the last week May...

mays a bit late they need to be in in aprill weather permiting so carnt set a date the land is ploughed but still need to prep the seed bed when it dries out a bit
it should take about a day to plant an acre |

I'll look them up when I can lay my hand on my directory of apple cultivars and give you the description. As I recall, they're a really yummy apple, and that's from a non-apple fan
