along the same lines I have a file with an .ods extention and i cant open it with my windows spreadsheet so what can i use?

ok just had a look and as a technodunce do i need to download the program or is there a way to put the file through it to just view it?

PPView97 for me. Teeny weeny little program that works every time.
You can download the exe file off the net but highly recommend running it by your anti-virus program before double clicking (as with any exe file).
