chop it into 1 inch cubes .
shallow fry till brown fresh shot young rabbit portioned up in bacon fat add the ballmeat.and then fry till that is brown and melting ., serve with fresh butterd hot buns ,use only fresh milled black pepper |

We ended up making the rabbit+bunny pie, which was absolutely fabulous, and also the crunchy puffball (dipped in egg and shallow fried in breadcumbs, 2nd time around with some added herbs & garlic). Thanks very much to Cab for the fantastic pie recipe, it was enjoyed by all to the point of explosion! |
