Hi I really do want them to go together unless anyone wants cock on his own... trouble with splitting them is I will end up with cockerel to kill-thats why selling cheap as a group.

Many thanks to Sunnyside for her hospitality today when we picked up our silkie hens, they arrived safely as you can see.
They seem to have settled in well with our ninja chickens and when we went to check them later we found that they were already working for their keep.
(Shop bought egg for size comparison)
Lets hope their productivity rubs off on the rest of the crowd.

Glad they settling well. I think the eggs will get a fair bit bigger with time as they haven't been laying that long and I've been noticing an increase in size while they have been here.

is silkie eggs not a different colour,as mine is more like an ivory colour

they vary fair bit from off white to beige. ones I've had have covered full range! never had true white or true brown though-just from cream to deep beigy.
