that seems really exciting, I remembr seeing a program about chernobyl and how the area is flurishing with live again, seems remarkable how even mans worst efferts can be overcome by mother earth if we butt out and leave her to it. | ||||

I always said that the Chernobyl would be interesting from a genetics point of view. Anyway, this also reminds me of a Radio 4 program about Bhopal. Apparently the area around the spill (one of the most hideous events in recent human history, I think) is now the greenest area in that part of India. Hardly surprising; there are no living insects to eat the plants
