Recemented fishpond - when to put fish back?A friend has just repaired her small ornamental fish pond. How long should the cement be left to go "off", to season a bit, and should she put water in and "rinse" the pond a few times before putting the fish back? Will it be safe after 2 or 3 weeks? |

Her best bet would probably be to buy a fish friendly concrete sealer from the local garden centre, as I think concrete can leak nasty stuff for quite a while.
