REPAIR AND RESTORATIONNot sure if this is the correct place, But have found a very good book 'How to restore and Repair Practically Everything by Lorraine Johnson' It explains very well how to clean and restore furniture, baskets, leather, glass ,rugs, baskets, I have used it for all sorts of projects as I once had a restoration business (some time ago) and found it very useful

the reader's digest home repair manual is also really useful form domestic repairs. troublr is that alot of the things listed in there have moved on alot and are now not designed for repair.
