Repairing soil

Hi,

Just wondered what the best way is to repair the fields from deep furrows.

I was forced to take the tractor across the fields while it is extremely wet with the consequence of now having ditches where I do not want them (All over the field).

When everything tries out I was wondering what the best way is of repairing this damage.

I take it that by 'furrows' you mean wheel ruts? If so, when it's dry, disc them in, following the same direction. Then consider subsoiling to correct any soil structure/drainage damage & further cultivations as required.

Any alternatives if I dont have a disc harrow?

Mark.

Depends what you've got access to? Any aggressive cultivation will help, discs just have the levelling capability built-in.
