Rescue PuppyOH went to do the shop run this morning with the girls, he returned and offloaded the shopping and in passing over his shoulder said we need to make a few phonecalls.....
Now this had me worried......turns out there was a labrador puppy running around a very fast main road, which was rounded up and loaded into the car. Straight to the local Garda to report it and we have the ISPCA contacts too....
She looks a lovely dog too....
Sneaking suspicion this is his revenge for my bringing home two saluki pups last week

No collar but will check with the vet about microchip in the morning. She is definately a house dog though.
I know nothing about labs but to my amateur eye she looks pure bred and I would guess about six months old.

Maybe slightly older. If you needed a home for her I'd have her like a shot (my 15month old chocolate lab bitch would love a friend).

She's a beautiful dog.
hopefully will either be reunited with her owners or rehomed soon. Dosen't look like the sort of dog that would just get dumped.

Slightly older? - it would help me greatly with the advert descriptions if you could give your opinion? I am disappointed no one has missed her....we called the garda and registered a dog found. We have numbers to call in the morning and people to contact but I am sadly not hopeful? If I had lost a dog - and she is a family pet - totally unfit - couldn't walk a mile or so - and has to be with OH or myself - I would have been straight onto the local Garda
I adore my salukis.........total enslavement

Is it the flash, but in the second pic I would have almost thought lab/springer cross?

I am no expert at all.....in either breed - oh no I have been describing her as a labrador

I would say a cross of some sort too. The muzzle seems a bit long for a lab.

If it is a cross the labrador is definitely dominant. Her muzzle looks slightly long and narrow, but not dramatically different. Comparing her size to mine I'd say more like 9months, but ours is small for the breed so I could be wrong.

young crossbreed bitch ,short buttermilk coloured fur with darker paws and ears etc
looks a bit labish
if the police and dog rescue folk know if the owners didnt dump her they will get reunited but pups like that are easy to home
