Ripening tomatoes indoors

Think that blight has arrived Sad . So, what's the best way to ripen toms indoors? Cool place? Warm place? Light? Dark? With a banana for company? Don't bother - make chutney (recipe?). Chutney hints and tips welcome as I've never made it before and quite fancy having a go (small quantity not industrial family feeding/Xmas gift/WI Market amounts Very Happy).

Cool and dark will retard ripening, warm and sunny will hasten it, banana will enhance it further
