roofing tar paperI have some stuff they sell here for roofs. It is a black membrane, like a layer of tar, with a thin peelable plastic sheet on one side and a white woven surface on the other. Can anyone please tell me which side is up, and do I peel the plastic off it? I think this might be used under asphalt tiles which are stuck to it with a blowtorch? Thinking this through, this is probably not what I want to use.....
