ROSS COBB Day Old Chicks - Meat BirdsI've just been quoted a fair price for 50 day old birds (£45.00 COX) from Cyril Bason in Shropshire, but the delivery charge to East Anglia is £40.00 !!!
Does anybody know of a local supplier in the East please ?

Not wanting to sound a total divvy but what does cox, ah and px stand for?

AH- as hatched (ie mixed sexes)
COX - male birds (cocks)
PX - female birds (pullets)

Try S&T poultry in Wisbech. I htink their number is in one of the poultry magazines or smallholding magazines. He seems to do all kinds of hybrids.
