RowansI think I have found a site with a veritable abundance of Rowans. However, having not picked these before, I am abit nervous.
Is there anything poisonous I might accidentally confuse them with?

I'm not entirely sure if there are any similar poisonous plants - best if some more experienced folk answer this... however, once you are confident you can identify a rowan they are easy to spot and hard to miss - such an abundance of berries.
Have yet to try any recipes with them having just found the first rowans local to where I live - am watching them gradually ripen each time I head out.

Rowan, apple and rosemary jelly is very good with lamb, mutton, pork and game.
Rowan wine also good. 3lb berries per gallon.
