Safe cleaning productsMy body has gotten very sensitive to regular cleaning products.
I cleaned the floor the other day with all purpose cleaner - and then I got ill. My body felt weak, flu like symptoms, then I had a chest infection. Oh and a bleeding nose, which I haven't had for a while.
And this is the third time I've gotten ill. The first two times was when I used fairy power spray, and I thought it was the product itself combined with a spray that sends the vapours right up my nose.
So this time I used boiling water and poured just a bit of a different product in, but I suppose I still inhaled the vapours through the steam.
Would a 'green' cleaner be better for me - other wise I'm thinking boiling water and lemon and salt - any advice?
Especially when I clean the ferrets cage, I want something that will really be a good cleaner.

Shaklee's Basic H cleaner seems popular on the greener-cleaner circuit in the US. As far as I know not available in the UK so the shipping costs as much as the stuff, when you find someone prepared to ship outside the US.

I use Bio-D if things are really manky.
But, mostly, I use a combination of my own soap and bicarb and vinegar and washing soda. And elbow grease.
Don't even buy washing powder any more, but do use Ecover washing up liquid.

We're using Tesco's own 'natural range' cleaning putty for the likes of oven hob, work surfaces, bath, lots of stuff really.
It seems to be pretty good and claims to only use natural ingredients ... smells OK too which is a bonus.
The old 'hob brite' cleaner was so full of chemicals it has several health warnings on it - yuk!
