samphire is yum, but a bit salty for Ted...any ideas how to reduce the saltiness?

i think the saltyness is ace ,if one has enough fresh water

We have samphire here, it's one of my favourites too.

I've been eyeing the mustard pods dpack, but all the ones I've tried seem pleasant enough but a bit woody. I had pinches of fresh elderflowers to nibble* while I was out walking in the rain the other day. Light and slightly perfumed, they were really good.

*Petals only, no green stuff.

The estuary down the road has Samphire. How can you preserve it in kilner jars? Is it doable?

pickled may work but fresh is nice
