Seed spudsAny idea where we could getsome seed spuds?
We thought we could put some in the polytunnel for early cropping, but can,t get hold of any. 
Its too late for christmas, and too early for next season i supose.

Hi,
Yes you are right - wrong time of year, they start becoming available around Xmas.
We will be adding a selection to our site then - all in 25Kg sacks - so if anyone has any favourites they would like us to add then let us know.

Have you got any left from this year you could plant? I had a very early crop of king edwards in the middle of my bed this year, and I didn't plant any - I must have just missed them last year!

I did see some "Christmass" spuds in plant pots in our local garden centre yesterday - a single sprouted spud in a 5 inch plant pot for just £1.59!!!!!
Maybe there are similar bargains where you live...
