Seen on an email...underneath the sig:
"Printing this email? Please think environmentally and only print when essential."
I thought it was rather a sweet idea and might adopt it myself. Don't know how much it will actually work on people but can't do much harm (except for the extra line they have to print out  )

being of the older school i find it very difficult to read long documents off a screen and have to print them out to refer to sensibly
90% of e-mails are rubbish anyway so you just delete and trash but i find that when doing my updates i have to print them out to study before updating the info successfully
i have tried flicking from screen to screen but it just makes my eyes go funny

Many companies do this, along with putting up posters saying "think green" etc which rather defeats the point.
