Seth Lakeman at Eastleigh Music Festival

This friday we went to see Seth Lakeman play at Eastleigh Music Festival (well in a tent in a recreation group - festival might be pushing it a little!!)

This is the second time we have seen him play live and we were both blown away - Mr G even danced Surprised Shocked Surprised

He was supported by Nick Harper (hats off to his Dad) who was fantastic and is playing Boscombe Community Fair so I will defo be going. I could not believe that 1 man and an accoustic guitar could make that kind of noise!!!

Jamanda used to live in a shared house with Nick Harper back in the days when he worked for Oddbins. I've got a copy of his first CD, 'snot bad actually.

I saw Nick Harper a couple of years ago. He told so many 'jokes' about the cornish being inbred and thick that I ended up thinking, 'Yeah, we must be frikkin thick to pay £20 each to see you, you arrogant tosspot'

Apart from that he was ok.

Cool!

It was the Led Zep cover he did, during which he broke a guitar string, that amazed us!!

Edit to say: I meant cool to sean not stacey, I must remember to quote people!

Seth delivers a fairly ace live performance.
