Can't remember the ones I've got but they weren't amazingly useful, I'll look em up when I get home. Our last 5 are going soon, you can borrow me books.

Read the current sheep series in the Country Smalholding magazine. 14 part series covering all the basics and more. Series started in the July issue.

An Introduction to Keeping Sheep, Jane Upton and Dennis Soden.
A basic introduction with good graphics that covers most aspects a beginner will need.
Then you can graduate more specialised tomes that devote 600 pages to all the different diseases they can get

That's the one that I was recommended and it has been really helpful.

You're not wrong. I bought what I thought was a basic veterinary handbook, and all it has done is induce total paranoia of imminent sheep death!

Quite right (although the OH is the sheep expert). A little trumpet blowing is allowed every now and then.
