SheringhamI was half-expecting to find a lively debate onlast night's BBC1 programme about the good people of Sheringham, Norfolk, and their battle not to have a Tesco built in their town...
...but not a dickie bird...

Our local council has just told Tesco that that they can't put up a TESCO roof-mounted sign when they open in one of the nearby towns, on the grounds that it would be completely out of scale/keeping with a small market town.
The Somerfield recently hiked all its prices to make as much money as possible before Tesco put them out of business (by August, I should think)
