Strawbs are always for snaffling here, but the kids usually find them first.

I've been doing the same with the gooseberries.
Well, no one seems to be picking them, so I'm having the lot!
Although my dad is always very good at picking bucketfuls of fruit, with out eating one little morsel, and bringing them in the house to share.
Obviously I haven't acquired his generosity gene!

me and jack have just been and finished off the first of the raspberries... got caught by the older two and then had to divide one raspberry between my daughter and her 2 friends so they didn't feel left out

Me too, problem is, I like them while they're still very sour and hard, happytechie likes them soft, so there aren't that many left for him...think I better make the rest into a crumble with some blackcurrants tonight
