should I just let them sort it out themselves?I have just put four chicks (6 weeks) into the run that I tend to keep and adolecent chook and /violet the pekin in. of course pecking order has ensued. nothing too horrible yet. should I just let them get on with it?

Yeah. Keep and eye on them and if they seem like it's more than just squabbling think again.
