snappy campaign title wanted!on behalf of the local eco group I'm a member of, I have to write a series of articles for the local parish mag. We want to inform and encourage folk to reduce their rubbish and this series of articles will focus on different aspects of the average dustbin. So first will be cardboard and then next month plastics and then glass.
Need a snappy title though. The committee favour something along the lines of 'One Bag' ie they'd like everyone to go down to only one bag but if you ever went round on bin day and seen some of the mountains you'll know that a lot of residents will switch off. Perhaps something to challenge them to reduce their rubbish by one bag? Or I thought of 'waste-line reduction notes' but that was deemed too subtle..
All ideas gratefully recieved..

thanxs Alisjs but we've got one of those Master Composter personages in our midst so that I'm fine on. Its going to be a very locally based thing with the recycling points etc etc on it as well as things like compostering stuff. Writing it I'm fine on (it can only be 250 words or so) its the title I'm stuck on (and writing on behalf of a committee means they vet things, bless!)

I'm wondering if you can make up something on the lines of Ten Green Bottles?
There were 10 black bin bags and one was filled with bottles. They went in the bottle bank and then there were 9 black bin bags. One was filled with cardboard and that went in the recycling box...etc grass cuttings - compost bin, old clothes - charity shop, uneaten food - bokashi etc.
Each article starts with the song and then each week/month tackle the items one by one in the main article. List what you can do with each type of waste (eg. council green waste scheme if you don't have room for a compost bin, how to get a council subsidised bin, if applicable) and what recycling it means to the environment, how the recycled waste is used, etc. You could also slip in some advice on how to avoid the waste in the first place - eg. planning meals to avoid food waste.

If you were nearer I'd suggest you got Mrs Recycle involved. As it is I bet she'd be full of ideas if you contacted her.
