Sponsorship/taxation queryIf I were to sponsor either a charitable organisation (e.g. become a 'corporate sponsor' of my local wildlife trust), or sponsor a particular event in return for logo deployment, how do I declare this to HMRC? Would it be a tax-deductibubble, or non-deductibubble expense?

It's an allowable expense if you're getting something in return, i.e your logo displayed.
Think I'm right anyway.
I always head for the Businesslink website if I'm looking for info like this

There is, I believe, a tax incentive for charitable donations.

I'm not talking about a donation per se - in both cases above I'd be getting something in return.

My accountant just lumps such things in with marketing. Just so long as you are getting something visible out of it.
