Squirrel repellent

We seem to have squirrels coming into the attic via the eaves. I've read that ammonia or mothballs put them off. Has anyone had any experience of this because other people say it doesn't work. I'd rather avoid having to kill them as there arent' too many round here and no reds for them to bully.

As a one time pest controller, I dealt with no end of situations where squirrels got into peoples lofts and caused massive damage . You really do need to get them out of there ASAP before they wreck the place and even cause a fire or flood with their chewing.

I can give you advice as to how to dispose of them via PM if you like but once you have got rid of them, you need to find out how they are getting in and squirrel proof the property.
