Stiff.....Advice please - stiff laptop hinges - starting to creek a bit and getting harder to open. Can I oil/lubricate these - I am aware that cables or something connecting the screen runs through them.........help?

locksmith graphite would be best, oh maybe not as it is conductive. Um er, white grease if you can find some. Are the hinges accessable without dismatling it.
