Summer Cooler recipe...but

Can you guys give me a hand modifying it.

Sooooo..... recipe from here

But what the heck are agave and seltzer and what could we substitute as I suspect we can't get them here.

Any thoughts?
sean

Seltzer is just fizzy water/soda water. Agave syrup is sugary syrup. You could use honey.

Isn't Tequila made from fermented agave juice? I don't suppose you could use that as a substitute even if it does take away the taste of the dandelion leaves.
sean

If you were in France would a dandelion and tequila cocktail be a pisenlita?
Leo

I seem to remember that our local chinese supermarket sells Agave juice in cartons.
sean

Arvo's in Somerset though.

Blimey. You lot *rock*.

But sorrel or dandelion leaves? That is the question.
sean

Sorrel tastes nicer than dandelion. IMHO

I would use a standard sugar syrup (50/50 water & sugar) or corn syrup in place of Agave. Honey has too much of a distinctive flavour. Agave syrup doesn't really taste of much.
