Are you specialising in Penguin Coloured Poultry, then, Bodger? It would be a very snazzy website, all done in black and white

Well I have got the Gloucester Old Spot Pigs and I'm finding it almost impossible to hatch any Welsummers.

Because of the thick shells?

I've been struggling to hatch them since I first had them which is for about three years now. Poor fertility to start with, as in eggs not starting, death half way through incubation and then dead in shell.
I can hatch Light Sussex and now my Anconas all day long but not the Welsummers.
Take this latest hatch for instance. I started with 12 Welsummers and 12 Anconas. At the first candling, 8 of the W eggs were clear and 3 of the a were also clear. At the moment, I have 6 of the A chicks, with others hatching but not so much as a sign of any of the W's wanting to join the world.
This has been happening with both eggs produced here at home and with those bought in from a way.
