The Cotswold Cheese CompanyYou may notice a banner ad for the above (which was very kindly created by Tahir).
The Cotswold Cheese Company is my business, and while we do not at present offer an internet shopping site we do have a large range of British and continental cheeses as well as virtually everything else you would expect from a delicatessen. We will be creating lots of gift hampers this autumn as well as encouraging people to design thier own. Although we are a small shop The British Cheese Awards decided that we deserved the title of Britain's Best New Delicatessen.

Dreams? He doesn't have time for sleep; he's too busy running his company.

No doubt he's working on his business plan for the franchise model of development and the placing of a unique (sic) Deli on every corner.
One day I'll call in. But I'm not often in that part of the world.
Well done.

How it all worked is only half of the story. How it all went wrong is the other half.

I'm sure he's signed up for a book deal, and the 6-part series to air later.

The former plays well with an American audience and the latter with a British.
So spill the beans....

We have just been to the Cotswold Cheese Company and I thought for a minute we wouldn't be able to squeeze through the door as the punters were queuing in the streets
There is a lovely selection of deli type stuff and you can get coffee and some rather good bloomers filled with locally produced ham, beef, turkey etc
We have a little buffet for this evening of locally produced rabbit pie, scotch eggs, pork pie and some interesting cheeses from the shop
We also had a nice chat and coffee with Twoscoops, that was on revisting the shop as it was too packed when we first went in!

Not at the moment I'm afraid, although I could always do Christmas cheeses by post for anyone who wanted them.
Absolute pleasure to meet you, Jema old boy. Sorry I didn't have much time to natter.

If it keeps going this well, you ought to have time in a year or two!
Sounds like things are going very well.
Enjoy - but don't relax, yet!

bump cos we were driving through Morton this afternoon so called in. Twoscoops wasn't in but the shop is just lovely! Very nicely laid out, very interesting range of items. Came home with some wigmore cheese (ewes milk and made in berkshire so localish to us) and some smoked garlic. Hope it continues to do well, as we thought how professional it was.
