The Downsizer Recipes CollectionThe Downsizer recipes collection is growing! Thanks to continuing efforts by Jamanda, Ruby and Wellington Womble a number of recipes posted in open forum have been entered into the recipes database.
At some point in the not-too-distant future we hope to do a review of the software that drives the recipes feature, and make some improvements to the look and feel. More info posted here as and when.

In order to help this mamoth task getting any bigger, if people could try to remember to put their recipes into the data base and then just say that's where it is in the forum. Then we can all find your wonderful recipe easily in 12 month's time when the original thread is long forgotten.
WW, Ruby and I are now experts on this, so please ask us if there are any problems.

A simple text search ought to be a priority, IMHO.

But with the forum search option, its pretty quick and easy to see whether there's a chocolate cake recipe, for example.
Its not quite so easy in the present database... its bizarre, sad, etc but it *is* easier to find what you want in the forum...
The current database seems best at offering suggestions in a certain area, rather than quickly finding something specific.
