The first sweet pepper of the season.We picked the first sweet pepper of the season yesterday. When I bought the plants, I fancied something a bit different so I got some of these purple peppers. They look a bit strange but I should be able to tell you how they taste at around teatime today. The variety we have is Tequila.

That is, quite frankly, a sexy pepper.
Mine are only just starting to fruit, got Samaroh and some standard one from the front of a mag.

We ate the last of the ones that we froze last year this week.
I had real beginners luck last year and grew hundreds in the poly tunnel. This year, I've got about 20 plants including this variety and they're growing OK ish. They'll have to go some to get up to last years standard though.
