Yum. After a nice sarnie for lunch (which included some raw mushroom...) what better "pudding" can there be than free fruits and berries. Worth all the pain and suffering it took to acquire them Very Happy

'Cause the stems and branches are chewy and tasty to deer and pigs, so they have to make themselve unpalletable.

Rodents, however, are small enough to avoid the prickly bits and do quite a good job in distribution.
