the most amazing of finds.......I knew that some day my obsession with junk shops would pay off. I've got some incredible bargains so far (including a 6 piece orange Le Creuset set with wooden hanging rack for £50, a brand new panini machine for £5, a set of 6 tea cups, saucers, cake plates and tea pot from the hornsea pottery set i'm collecting for £5......) but the finds yesterday and today might just take the cake. Yesterday I got a pristine condition Prestige pressure cooker for £2.50, but today was the amazing find. 3 brand new, in packaging, made in England, copper bottomed frying pans in graduated sizes with solid brass handles......for £1 each. I am totally over the moon!

I have been lusting after copper frying pans like these for years and years but just couldn't afford them. So this is all the more special for it. I can't wait to use them! they're currently hanging up on the wall of my kitchen all shiny and winking at me. Sigh.....

I love charity shops. We don't have them here in France. But when I'm in the UK I got charity shop bonkers. I think they are a truly wonderful thing.
Best bargain in a charity shop - probably cut glass decanters.
