By a bizarre and happy co-incidence, we are meeting friends for a weekend's camping near Disserth that weekend.
How much is a day ticket and what day is the poultry? |

£12 and the poultry show is saturday, but the poultry auction is sunday.
We're going saturday. |

I'll be there both days DawnMK if you'd like to meet and say Hi (or anyone else)
Saturday: Just me Sunday: Possibly son and I (or just me again). I have a friend in builth and staying with her for the weekend, which i'm rather glad as the 3 years ive taken a tent they break in the horrendus winds that they seem to get each year.. and the tents were all good makes and had all survived coastal winds/nearly gales. |

Re: The Smallholder's Show Builth2. The name change. It was our first time going there and as we liked it so much, we then went to the Royal Welsh Show expecting it to be similar, but bigger. We were very disappointed in the RW show as it seemed to be very corporate, even down to the fast food choices. At the smallholders show there were lots of small producers selling cooked food of all kinds, but at the RW it was a choice of burgers and chips or fish and chips and all by the same franchise vans. We're worried now that the *Spring Festival* is going to go the same way. |
