this mornings breakfastthese tasty mushrooms on fresh toast done with smoky bacon and a lot of quail eggs. They are horse mushrooms [Aga. macrosporus]
added a few more on the way home ,for pickling and drying

I wish I could find more giant puffballs.... I usually only find the old ones mental note to self: get out more....
is that a puffball top pic? could be a field or horse cap on second glance.

That's a great haul bubble.
Agaricus Arvensis are normally known as horse mushrooms and I know agaricus macrosporus as the Macro mushroom. However, as far as I know it is often impossible to tell the difference without a microscope (apart from the smell perhaps in older specimens).
