One interesting anomaly this week is that wild foods for February actually rose in the chart a little!

Jiust spotted as well that How to Joint a Rabbit which had fallen to 41 is back uo to 33!

Would it be useful to try changing the editor's choice after you put up the weekly figures? Just asking cos I added jointing a rabbit last time I changed them round; I wonder how much difference this is making?

After a selection of seasonal stuff I think the best thing is to pick from the lower end of this chart, what do you think?

Didn't spot the change, but I guess that shows the power of eds choice Smile

I am not totally sure about picking on the "losers" for eds choice, for that matter what about the ones not making the chart?

I just think an intelligent choice of seasonal topical and showing a balance of what the site is about.

It's just that at the moment I've got a list of 100+ to pick from so picking out the seasonal ones is hard enough (and that's at the moment, think of all those articles to come Shocked ) - and as we've said before a lot of earlier articles might have suffered through sheer lack of casual visitors before we came up well in search engines etc - making them more prominent on a cyclical basis might have an effect not only of giving them well deserved views but being the one article that attracts a casual visitor in to becoming a member...
