tow bar wantedHiya....We got an allotment a couple of weeks ago (will show photo's soon, I hope!)...I bought an old G reg diesel Fiesta as a work horse....desperately need a towbar for it....tried all the usual things, e-bay, loot etc, anything out there?

indespension do them new, failing that phoning some scrappies will be the best bet I suspect. The fiesta is not a well known towing car so they may well be in short suply | ||

my car was winched away about an hour ago with the tow bar on as the garage quoted £150 to take it off...if id have know you could have had it!!! | ||

We had a tow bar fitted to our company fiesta van. It cost around £180 from a mobile tow bar fitter. | ||

After recently having a tow bar snap on us whilst towing our folding caravan(no worries no harm done ) I would highly recomend buying a new one. I would never trust a second hand one you never know what kind of punishment it has had. | ||

There is a trailer firm nearby who will fit a new one for £180 but the car only cost me £250 so I didn't want to spend a lot. But then reading goldy1's experience  Tried all the local scrappies, I even contacted a company who boasted 'any parts found...guaranteed'....nothing!

I suppose with all the work I have planned on the lotty, it would probably pay for itself quite quickly if I was to treat myself to a new one. But then you can guarantee there will be one in the paper or something really cheap a couple a days later

RichardW....Cheers fella. I had a look at the web site...sounds just the ticket. I work in Macclesfield and the Borough almost reaches out that way. I can arrange a site visit over there and just make a slight detour

Yeh sure. i must have bought 5 or 6 from them over the years. All have worked very hard towing VERY heavy trailers on & off road.
