Trimming chicken's clawsDo I need to? They look quite long, but then I don't know how long they're supposed to be.

Any pictures so our resident experts can make a judgement.

Shouldn't think so, as long as they're not using them to scratch each other.
That said, I know very little.

I have never had to trim their claws.
A cocks spurs yes but never their feet.
Saying that I'm sure you must get overgrown claws as you can beaks so in such cases judicious clipping with pet clippers or good quality wire snips would be OK.
Like as already said photos would be useful.

I have done when our hens claws have become noticeably longer. I've also found they can get a bit long about this time of year when they've not done much scratching around the garden. I use what I think are probably toe-nail clippers, big nail-clippers. Hold hen still and ensure you only clip the nail, not the bit that is growing has has the blood in otherwise you'll have a bloodbath. Probably best under-trimming rather than over-trimming, there should be a better guide online somewhere or in various poultry books.
