Turkey hen sitiing on duck eggs? any issues?Hi all, my white turkey hen has gone broody and has started to gather in all the egg she can to sit on. I've removed the goose eggs as until this morning I only had the one goose (she now has a few friends to keep her company) and left he on about 5 of her own eggs and around 8 or so fertile duck eggs.
Should I remove the duck eggs and let her just have her own or can I leave her with the duck eggs as well, is she going to mother the ducklings or reject them when they hatch?
I'm happy to have ducklings and turkey chicks but just don't want to have any issues if/when they hatch.
